Cart Shipping Calculator for WooCommerce
Brings a shipping calculator back to the WooCommerce Cart block. Shoppers enter where they live and see the delivery options WooCommerce already offers for their cart. It adds no shipping rates of its own.

What it does
WooCommerce 10.0 removed the shipping calculator from the Cart block. A new shopper on the block cart now reaches checkout without having been able to see what delivery will cost, which is a long way to go to find out.
This plugin puts a calculator back on the Cart block. A shopper enters their location and sees the delivery options and prices WooCommerce works out for their cart. It does not calculate anything itself: it asks WooCommerce, so what appears is what WooCommerce already has for that cart and that location. Methods that come from other shipping plugins are shown too, as long as the plugin can quote from a country, state, postcode and town alone.
It adds no shipping rates of its own, and it is for the Cart block only. Your zones, methods and prices stay exactly where you set them, and a cart page that still uses the classic shortcode is not touched.
Pro changes how the methods are presented in the calculator, and all of it lives on one Display and wording page. For each shipping method in your zones, and each collection point, you can set the name shoppers see in the calculator, a short description, a line of your own wording for the arrival time (typed by you, not worked out), an icon, the order the options are listed in within each group (delivery and collection), and which one is recommended. The cart totals and checkout keep WooCommerce's own names. A method that costs nothing can read FREE instead of a zero price. If PluginCity Free Shipping Bar is running on the shop, you can switch on Pro's free-shipping line, which shows that plugin's own sentence under the options. The amount and the words are that plugin's. Pro does not change which methods are offered or what they cost.

Frequently asked questions
Does it add shipping rates of its own?
No. It asks WooCommerce what is available for the cart and the shopper's location and shows that. Your zones, methods and prices are set up in WooCommerce and your shipping plugins, exactly as they are today, and the calculator shows what they produce.
Does it work on the classic cart?
No, it is for the Cart block only. A cart page built on the classic shortcode is left alone.
Why did the shipping calculator disappear from my cart?
WooCommerce removed it from the Cart block in version 10.0. This plugin adds a calculator to the block itself.
Does it work with other shipping plugins?
It shows the rates WooCommerce works out for the cart and the place entered. If another shipping plugin can quote from just a country, state, postcode and town, its methods are shown too. A plugin that needs a full street address will only quote at checkout.
What does Pro add?
Control over how each shipping method is shown in the calculator, on one Display and wording page: its name, a description, a line of your own wording such as the arrival time (plain text you write, not a calculated date), an icon, its place in the list, and whether it is recommended. The cart totals and checkout keep WooCommerce's own names. A zero price can read FREE, and a free-shipping line can be switched on to show what PluginCity Free Shipping Bar says. Pro does not change which methods are offered or what they cost.
Do I need PluginCity Free Shipping Bar to use Pro?
No. Only the optional free-shipping line uses it, and that line appears only when that plugin is running and has something to say for the cart.
Do I need an account or a licence key for the calculator?
No. The calculator needs no account and no licence key, and it does not contact PluginCity.
