PluginCity Size Charts for WooCommerce
Size charts for block and classic themes: a keyboard-friendly popup or a tab, with rules by role, country or variation.

What it does
Size charts for block and classic themes: a keyboard-friendly popup or a tab, with rules by role, country or variation.
Build a chart once as a table you type in, with an optional picture and notes, and show it on every product it belongs to: assign it to products, categories (sub-categories included), tags or the whole shop. A product shows every chart assigned to it, as a button that opens a popup, as a product tab, or both, and a block or the [szcwc_size_chart] shortcode puts a chart anywhere else. It works on block themes as well as classic ones. The popup is a native dialog with a focus trap, Escape to close and focus returned to the button, and several charts in one popup become tabs that answer the arrow keys, Home and End.
Pro limits a chart to chosen customer roles or countries, or to chosen variations of a variable product, gives each chart heading colours of its own, and starts a table from one of five garment templates that you check against your own garments. Roles, countries and colours travel with an export. The country is a best guess made on your own server, and a page cache can show one visitor's version to the next. If the licence lapses nothing is deleted and your charts keep showing, but the rules stop applying, so every matching chart is shown to everyone in the default colours until you renew.

What the plugin does
- Size charts you build as a table you type in, with rows and columns you add or remove, an optional picture and notes.
- No limit on the number of charts, rows, columns or products.
- Assign a chart to products, to categories with their sub-categories, to tags, or to every product.
- A product shows every chart assigned to it, in the order set by each chart's Order box and then by name.
- A popup button on the product page, before or after the add to cart form, with wording you can change.
- A size chart tab among the product tabs, with wording you can change.
- Works on block themes and classic themes: the button sits by the add to cart form in either, and the tab uses WooCommerce's own product tabs.
- A popup that is a native dialog with a dialog role, an accessible name and a visible close button.
- Focus moves into the popup and stays there, Escape closes it, and focus returns to the button that opened it.
- Several charts in one popup become tabs that respond to the arrow keys, Home and End.
- Tables are marked up with captions and row and column headings, and a wide table scrolls sideways without a mouse.
- A Size Chart block and the [szcwc_size_chart] shortcode put a chart anywhere, on the page or behind a popup button.
- Chart import and export, to copy charts to another shop or keep a backup. Imported charts arrive as drafts and pictures are not carried across.
- Charts and settings are kept when the plugin is deleted, unless you tick Remove all data first.
- High-Performance Order Storage compatibility.
- Show a chart only to chosen customer roles. Visitors who are not logged in count as a role of their own.
- Show a chart only to visitors from chosen countries. With roles and countries both chosen, a visitor has to match both.
- The country is worked out on your own server, from a header your host or CDN adds or from the MaxMind database if you have set one up. A setting decides whether country-limited charts are hidden when it is unknown.
- Show a chart only for chosen variations of a variable product, once the customer has picked one, including inside popup tabs.
- Heading row and heading text colours for each chart.
- Five garment templates to fill into a table and edit: tops and T-shirts, trousers and jeans, dresses, shoes, and children's clothing.
- Roles, countries, colours and Pro's settings travel with an export. Variations do not, because a variation's number means something only on the shop it came from.
- If the licence lapses nothing is deleted and every chart keeps showing, to everyone, in the default colours. Your rules stay saved and readable, and renewing switches them back on.
- A 14-day trial on a new install before the licence matters.
- Updates from your PluginCity account, kept coming by your licence key.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with block themes?
Yes. The tab appears through WooCommerce's product tabs, and the popup button is added next to the add to cart form whether the theme draws the product page with a classic template or with the block editor. It was checked on Storefront and Twenty Twenty-Five. If your theme draws a product page with neither the add to cart form nor the product tabs, use the Size Chart block or the shortcode to place a chart yourself.
Is the popup accessible?
It is a native dialog with a dialog role, an accessible name, a visible close button and a focus trap. Escape closes it and focus goes back to the button that opened it. When more than one chart is in a popup they are a set of tabs that respond to the arrow keys, Home and End. Those are the behaviours it has. The plugin makes no claim to meet any accessibility standard, so check your own theme's product pages as well.
How do I make my first chart?
Open WooCommerce, Size Charts and choose Add chart. Give it a name and fill in the table: the first row is the heading row and the first column labels each row, and you can paste a block of cells straight from a spreadsheet. Under Where this chart appears pick products, categories or tags, or tick Every product, then publish it.
How do I choose between a popup button, a tab, or both?
Open WooCommerce, Size Chart settings. You can switch the product tab on or off, choose whether the popup button comes before or after the add to cart form, and change the wording of the button and the tab.
What happens when several charts apply to one product?
All of them are shown, in the order set by the Order box on each chart and then by name. In a popup they appear as tabs.
How do I put a chart somewhere else?
Use the Size Chart block in the editor, or the shortcode [szcwc_size_chart id="123"], where 123 is the chart's ID. The shortcode prints the table on the page, and display="button" puts it behind a popup button instead. Leave the id out on a product page to show whichever charts apply to that product.
Is there a limit on the number of charts?
No. There is no cap on charts, rows, columns or products.
Can a chart be for trade customers only?
Yes. Tick the role on the chart under Who sees this chart. Visitors who are not logged in count as a role of their own, so a chart can be for them alone too. A customer with two roles sees the chart if either one is ticked, and when you tick roles and choose countries the visitor has to match both.
How is the country worked out?
By WooCommerce's own locator with its outside look-ups switched off, so a visitor's address is never sent anywhere. That reads a header your host or CDN adds, or the MaxMind database if you have set one up under WooCommerce settings. If neither is there the country is unknown, and the setting under Audience rules decides whether a country-limited chart is shown or hidden.
Will the role and country rules work behind a page cache?
Only if the cache keeps a separate copy by role or country, or leaves product pages out. A plain page cache keeps whichever version it saved first and serves it to the next visitor.
How do variation rules work?
On a variable product the chart stays out of sight until the customer picks one of the variations you chose, and goes away again if they clear their choice. A product that has none of those variations does not show the chart at all.
Do the garment templates give me the right sizes?
They are starting points, not measurements to trust. Sizing differs between makers and between cuts, so check every figure against your own garments before you save. There are five: tops and T-shirts, trousers and jeans, dresses, shoes, and children's clothing.
Can I copy charts and their rules to another shop?
Yes. Charts travel in an export together with their roles, countries and colours. Variations do not, because a variation's number means something only on the shop it came from. Imported charts arrive as drafts, products, categories and tags are matched by name on the other shop, and pictures are not carried across.
What happens to my charts if I deactivate or delete the plugin?
Deactivating changes nothing. Deleting the plugin from the Plugins screen keeps your charts, settings and Pro rules, so removing it by mistake costs you nothing. To remove everything, tick Remove all data under WooCommerce, Size Chart settings before you delete it.
What happens if my licence lapses?
Nothing is deleted and nothing breaks, and your charts keep showing. What stops is the rules: every chart that matches a product is shown to everyone, in the default colours, so a chart you limited to one role, country or variation appears for all of them until the licence is active again. Your rules stay saved and readable but cannot be changed, and saving or importing Pro rules is refused with a message. Renewing switches it all back on as you left it.
Does it send any data out?
Your charts, settings and your visitors' details stay on your site. The licence check and the update check contact PluginCity and send the licence key, the site address and the plugin version. Your charts and your visitors' details are not part of those requests.
Does it work with High-Performance Order Storage?
Yes. The plugin never reads or writes orders, so shops using High-Performance Order Storage are fully supported.
What happens if I deactivate WooCommerce?
The plugin steps aside and shows a notice. It does not cause a fatal error, and your charts are waiting when WooCommerce comes back.
How do I install it and what does it need?
Download the ZIP from your PluginCity account, then go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and click Install Now. If an earlier copy of the plugin is already installed, choose Replace current with uploaded: every chart and setting you have is kept. It needs WordPress 6.7 or later, WooCommerce 10.0 or later with WooCommerce active, and PHP 8.1 or later. There is nothing else to install alongside it.
How do updates and the licence key work?
Paste your licence key under WooCommerce, Size Charts, Licence. Updates then arrive on your Plugins screen like any other, and the key keeps the Pro rules editable. A new install has 14 days before that starts to matter.
