Tiered Pricing Table for WooCommerce
Buy more, pay less: quantity tiers shown in a pricing table, charged as the real price in the cart, checkout and order.

What it does
Buy more, pay less: quantity tiers shown in a pricing table, charged as the real price in the cart, checkout and order.
Tiered Pricing Table lets a customer see what buying more saves. You set tiers on a product, each one a minimum quantity with either a fixed price for each unit or a percentage off. Once the quantity reaches a tier, every unit costs that tier's price, not only the units past the break: if a tier starts at 10 and a customer buys 12, all 12 are charged at the tier price.
The product page carries a pricing table with the normal price crossed out and the saving beside each tier. The tier the customer is in is highlighted, and a live line underneath shows the total, the price each and the saving as they change the quantity.
It works on simple products and on variable products, where each variation can have tiers of its own and the table follows the variation the customer picks. Put the table before or after the Add to cart button, or anywhere you like with the shortcode [plugincity_tiered_pricing]. The heading, the column labels, the way savings are written and the message in the cart are all in your own words, and tiers can be worked out from the price on sale now or from the regular price.
The price a customer sees is the price they pay. The tier price is set on the cart line itself, so it carries through the classic cart and checkout, the Cart and Checkout blocks, the mini-cart, the order and a refund, with taxes and coupons worked out on it as on any other price and prices shown with or without tax as your shop shows them. A message under each cart line says how many more to add to reach the next tier. It is compatible with High-Performance Order Storage.
Rules go further than one product at a time. Price the whole shop, a category, a tag, chosen products, variations or attributes, give each customer role its own tiers (guests included), and choose which rule wins when several apply: the most specific, the first in your list or the deepest discount. Count quantities together across a category in the cart, or across the variations of one product, so three small and two large reach the tier for five. Price a tier as a fixed discount, as a package price such as 10 for 80, or in graduated bands that price each stretch of units separately. Run a rule between two dates, every year on the same dates or on chosen weekdays, choose how coupons work with it, and keep chosen products and categories out of it.
Table styles and your own colours and sizes change how the table looks, a Best value or Most popular badge can be chosen with a Badge dropdown on each tier row, whether the tiers belong to a product, a variation or a rule (the wording is set under Savings messages in Settings), and savings messages can go on each cart line, in the cart totals and on the product page. A simulator shows what any product, quantity, customer role and date would cost before you tell a customer, and rules export to a file and import into another shop, with categories carried by slug and products by SKU. Minimum and maximum quantities are held on the product page, the cart and the blocks; they are lightweight, and for order minimums across a whole cart the separate Minimum Order for WooCommerce plugin covers them in full.
Nothing in the plugin contacts a service other than PluginCity. The only requests it makes are the licence and update checks, which send your licence key, the shop's web address and the plugin version, and no customer data is sent. The storefront side sets no cookies of its own.
If the licence lapses, nothing is deleted. Rules and quantity limits stop applying and every product is priced from the tiers set on the product itself. Your rules and settings stay stored and stay on the screens you set them on, where you can read them but not change them, and renewing switches everything back on as you left it.

Frequently asked questions
How does tiered pricing work?
You set quantity tiers on a product, such as 10 or more, 25 or more and 50 or more. Once a customer's quantity reaches a tier, that tier's price applies to every unit, not only to the units past the break. If a tier starts at 10 with a price of $16.00 each, a customer who buys 12 pays $192.00.
Can a tier be a percentage?
Yes. Each tier is either a fixed price for each unit or a percentage off the price your tiers are worked out from.
Which price are tiers worked out from?
You choose: the price the product is on sale at now, or its regular price.
Does it work with variable products?
Yes. Each variation can have tiers of its own, and the pricing table follows the variation the customer selects.
Is the price in the table the price the customer pays?
Yes. The tier price is set on the cart line itself, so the figure in the table is the figure in the cart, at checkout and on the order.
How do taxes, coupons and refunds behave?
Taxes, rounding and coupons are worked out on the tier price the way WooCommerce works them out on any price, and a refund is made from the line total as usual. Rules add controls for how coupons work with a tier price.
Does it work with the block cart and checkout?
Yes. The Cart and Checkout blocks, the mini-cart and the classic pages all show and charge the same figure.
Where does the table appear, and can I place it myself?
Before or after the Add to cart button, or anywhere you like with the shortcode [plugincity_tiered_pricing]. Its heading, column labels and savings format are yours to word.
Where do I mark a tier as Best value?
Use the Badge dropdown on each tier row: on a product's Tiered Pricing tab, on a variation's tiers and in the tier rows of a rule. Choose No badge, Best value or Most popular. The words shown are set under Savings messages in Settings.
Can I set prices by category, tag, attribute or customer role?
Yes. A rule can cover the whole shop, a category, a tag, chosen products, variations or attributes, and can be limited to chosen customer roles or to guests. A rule with no role is for everybody.
What happens when several rules apply to one product?
By default the most specific rule wins: a variation beats a product, a product beats a category, a category beats a tag and a tag beats the whole shop. Equal rules go by their priority number and then by their order in the list. You can instead let the first rule in the list win, or the rule that gives the deepest discount.
Can quantities be counted together?
Yes, in two ways. A rule can count a whole category together, so three tees and seven polos are ten shirts. Or you can count the variations of one product together, so three small and two large are five.
What is the difference between volume, graduated and package pricing?
Volume pricing charges every unit at the tier the quantity reaches. Graduated pricing charges each band of units at its own tier, like income tax. A package price sells a set number for one price, such as 10 for 80, with any leftover units charged as normal. A fixed discount takes an amount off.
Can a rule run only for a sale?
Yes. Give a rule start and end dates, tick repeat every year for something like Black Friday, or choose the weekdays it runs on. Dates follow the time zone set in WordPress.
Can I stop a coupon stacking on a tier price?
Yes. A rule can allow coupons, refuse them, or accept only the codes you list. A customer who tries another is told why.
Can I set a minimum or maximum quantity?
Yes, on any rule, with or without tiers. The quantity box, the cart, the checkout and the Cart and Checkout blocks all hold to it. These limits are lightweight: for order minimums across a whole cart, the separate Minimum Order for WooCommerce plugin covers them in full.
Can I see what a customer would be charged before I publish a rule?
Yes. The simulator shows the price for any product, quantity, customer role and date you try.
Can I move my rules to another shop?
Yes. Export the rules to a file and import it elsewhere. Categories travel by their slugs and products by their SKU, so a rule lands on the same things in the other shop, and anything the other shop does not have is reported and left out. Settings can be exported and imported too.
Does it contact any outside service, and is customer data sent anywhere?
No customer data is sent anywhere. The only requests the plugin makes are the licence and update checks to PluginCity, which carry your licence key, the shop's web address and the plugin version. The storefront side sets no cookies of its own.
Does it work with High-Performance Order Storage?
Yes. The price each line was sold at is kept as order item data, which High-Performance Order Storage holds as it does any other.
How do updates and support work?
Download the plugin from your PluginCity account and enter your licence key under WooCommerce, Tiered Pricing Table, Licence. Updates then appear on the Plugins screen, and the key also connects the site to direct support. A new install has fourteen days to get set up before the screens become read-only without a key.
What happens if my licence lapses?
Nothing is deleted. Rules and quantity limits stop applying, so every product is priced from the tiers set on the product itself. Your rules and settings stay on the screen as words you can read but not change, and renewing switches them back on as you left them.
